About Ravda

Found on the Black Sea coast just 1km south of the ancient town of Nesebar, Ravda is the perfect location for your vacation or holiday home. Set in an idealic backdrop of virgin forest, lush green meadows and fields of sunflowers, Ravda’s wide flat sandy beach is considered to be among the finest along the Black Sea coast. Ravda Beach is wonderful for children with safe play areas and shallow water.

The ancient town of Nesebar, set on a small rocky peninsula on the north of Bourgas Bay, is one of 9 UNESCO heritage sites in Bulgaria and is the jewel of the Black Sea. Built over 9,000 years ago it was one of the most important centres of naval trade in the world. Nesebar is one of the oldest cities in Europe and its remains of aqueducts, sewerage system, fortified walls, amphitheatre and numerous cult edifices and churches, attract visitors from all over the world. With narrow authentic medieval, Roman and Greek cobblestone streets and ancient remains, Nesebar is a place of intrigue which exudes a romantic and timeless atmosphere.

In contrast, one of the most popular and lively tourist destinations on the Black Sea coast, Sunny Beach, is just 3 km away. With miles of sandy flat beach, alongside which runs a long pedestrian promenade with shops, market stalls, bars, cafes and restaurants, Sunny Beach attracts the young and stylish European set.

Within walking distance there are:

  • Quiet restaurants
  • Fashionable cafes
  • Clubs and bars
  • A marina/yacht harbour
  • Water sports: paragliding, jet-skis, scuba-diving and wind-surfing
  • Luxury hotels with spas

Within 15 minutes of the complex you will also find:

  • Casinos
  • The best aqua park in Bulgaria
  • Horse-riding
  • Great shopping: leather goods, clothes, jewellery, arts & crafts

A tram is also planned to run from Ravda, past Sunny Beach to St Vlas on the other side of the Bay. Currently you can board a miniature electric train to take you from Nesebar to Sunny Beach, or you can catch a boat to take you across the Bay.
